Want a Mercedes? December 10, 2008 Garth Clark (GLENDORA, CA United States) Here's what you've been looking for a long time. Accepts just about any 775 cpu,DDR2 memory,x16 PCIe graphics, overclocking software and a great bios set up (for those who know how to use it) to manually adjust output performance. This is rated as good as the Maximus Formula II (P45) and sells for a lot less. I have to say, no troubles what so ever and I highly recommend installing the AHCI SATA drivers when loading an OS, the hot plug features are enabled and the SATA II speed will run vs. EIDE mode. Asus has a great reputation, they support their products very well with updates although their website is a slow poke most of the time. There's ton's of value in Asus products.
Disappointed October 26, 2008 Richard Sickler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This board was disappointing. I prefer Asus boards and this board with it's Intel Q9550 processor, dual Raptors in a raid 0, config, 8 GB of RAM, Windows XP x64 is an oinker compared the Asus A8N Sli Deluxe with AMD 4400, 4 GB, dual Raptors that it replaced.
The BIOS is definitely put together by a committee without much regard as to how the whole thing fits together.
The BIOS seems to forget any change to it's boot settings when power is removed.
In short, I'm disappointed. I expected better from Asus.
Great Mother Board October 7, 2008 ScottyDog 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the Asus P5Q-Deluxe from Amazon and could not be happier. Ar first they had it listed as the P5Q3 Deluxe but anyone with a little common sense would have known the price was too low for that board. I used the Amazon chat service and they confirmed there was a typo. I ordered the P5Q-Deluxe and it arrived in 3 days with free shipping!
This motherboard has it all including Dual Gigabit Lan, 6 SATA II ports, 10 USB ports,Express Gate, 8-channel High Definition Audio and all the over clocking features you could want.
Asus is marketing all the "eco green" settings on this board that are nothing but nonsense. IMHO.
If you are into over clocking this board makes it simple. I currently am running a E8400 at 3.8mhz using the AI Tweaker Utility.
This board will satisfy any one who is looking for an all in one board that uses DDR2 memory.
Amazon has stuffed this one up September 21, 2008 Andrew Trott (Cambridge, MA USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Amazon.com have advertised this MB as the P5Q3 deluxe, when in fact it just is not. Through many suppliers, they are supplying the P5Q deluxe. They have a responsibility to compensate the many customers they have inconvenienced, including me (twice now). I guess it's easy to say you just shouldn't touch this product on Amazon's system, but GO THROUGH SOME OTHER PROVIDER!

Recieved wrong MB twice and they wanted me to return both before refunding my money. Had to call them at least 10 times to get them straightened out on this. Horrible experience. Never recieved the correct one and bought another from a different company. Even the supervisor screwed things up.
