Product Description The Corsair Flash Voyager family of USB drives is rugged, stylish, compact, and reliable, making them ideal for transporting MP3s, digital images, presentations and more. Flash Voyager drives are fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and are backward compatible with USB 1.1. Their durable rubber casing is easy to grip and water resistant. The Flash Voyager product line is both enclosed in the Corsair proprietary all-rubber Flash Voyager housing. Boasting water-resistant properties, these drives allow users to carry more valuable data and applications without compromise. Several reviews of the Flash Voyager products have demonstrated the ruggedness, durability, and reliability of the Flash Voyager family. The Flash Voyager has been shown laundered, baked, frozen, boiled, dropped, and even run over by a SUV in many third party reviews. After all the punishment it receives, the drive continues to work.

works just fine! November 19, 2008 S Girl Product works well - having so much space is awesome. It holds all of my pictures plus all of my documents. The only issue I had was when I tried to store my movies, they didn't copy quite right. I discovered that I had to reformat the jump drive. After I did that, no problem at all.
Light weight poratable backup November 18, 2008 Ophira Rosolio-aharonson (Jesey City, NJ USA) I find the Corsair Corsair 16GB Flash Voyager USB 2.0 Flash Drive - CMFUSB2.0-16GBUSB 2.0 Flash Drive - CMFUSB2.0-16GB (Purchased 10/16/2008) very useful and light weight poratable backup. Wish it was a little faster. Also could be slimmer with bright colors and cover that doesn't fall so easily.KeyScan KS810 Color Document Scanner integrated in a PC Keyboard - Black
5 weeks.. November 16, 2008 Brandon Williams 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well well what da ya know. I hate to do this because I love to give props when they're due and give 5 stars to everything I ever got from amazon because most of it works great. But this device here..This $#!T should be taken off amazon. I kid you not, no more than 5 weeks of owning this crap I encountered problems. You never know what kind of stunt its going to pull. It's a blessing if the computer recognizes it and you're actually able to transfer a file but more often, it makes the sound that windows makes when it recognizes that a new device has been inserted and within the same second it is "pulled out" and makes that sound that says a device has been removed. Other times it says USB device not recognized. This also happened to my sandisk 8gb but my 2gb sandisk worked fine for a year! I'm thinking its the bigger flash drives in general. HEAR MY CRY! DO NOT SUPPORT THESE PEOPLE!!!!
rubber doesn't mean rugged November 14, 2008 infp321 (Gainesville, FL) Things I liked about this drive: - capacity - speed - nifty blue light that blinks when data was transferring
Didn't like: - The rubberized cap sometimes grips other things like denim more than it grips the smooth metal of the USB connector, so it would come off when I was taking it out of my pocket. I ended up switching it for a non-rubberized cap from another defunct USB. - It's just as vulnerable as any other USB drive in terms of getting bent/broken where the USB connector meets the body of the drive, and I guess I sat on it and bent it, and it ceased to work.
Currently I'm looking at getting a Sandisk Cruzer with a metal body and retractable USB connector, and I don't foresee having this problem again.
Good Flash Drive November 13, 2008 JASON (Hazard, Kentucky USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This flash drive has a significant amount of space and is "hardened" against shock (rubberized coating). This also keeps it from getting a five star rating from me. It is a tad thick if you want to stack something else in a close USB port, but of course the coating which makes it thick also gives it protection, so it depends on what you are looking for. This is a good product.
