This has truly been a great work horse. It is quiet, and does not shake, or vibrate at all. I love this wonderful machine. I will buy another one if this one ever needs to be replaced.
Pleasantly Surprised at Quality for the Money November 19, 2008

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this printer was so good for the amount I paid. Yes, you could get a quieter, fancier, and faster all-in-one but not for this price. I have not used the fax, but have used the scanner and it is quite good. The printer prints better photos than my photo printer at home that was intended for printing photos. This one was not! I am using this as a printer in my office at work. It is noisy and somewhat slow in normal mode.(But cost less than a comparable all-in-one of a different brand at my local Wal-Mart superstore.) If you want just an efficient printer that gets the job done without being too fancy, I don't think you can really beat this one. One thing I have never liked about all-in-ones is that if one part malfunctions, you are stuck with a unit where not all of the functions work, but the parts that still work make it wasteful to just get rid of it. For this price, you don't have to feel as guilty if you trade it in on a new all-in-one.

I've had several epson printers in the past with great success, so I decided to purchase this one. Its a great printer. Not only does it print very quick, but the scanner is awesome. It even has a tray on the top of the printer so you can scan up to 30 pages without having to scan them 1 page at a time. Also, the ability to change the ink colors individually is always a plus. Can't go wrong with this printer.

This product arrived free shipping in record time from Amazon. After opening the box I was impressed with the quality and weight (lightweight) of the machine. During set up I discovered no cartridges were included (as promised) in the box so I called the Epson 800 number. A helpful agent answered within reasonable time (less than 2 minutes) and promised to send missing items in 3 business days maximum to our house. Items (cartridges) did arrive within three days and set up was a breeze (20 minutes total). You will need to supply a USB cord (as indicated in description). Print quality is superior to any I've seen in this price category. Highly recommended!

The company must have misplaced my order because when I inquired about it after about 5 days, they hadn't yet shipped. But they gave me a small credit and then sent it out immediately. When it did arrive, I set it up and tried all the functions and it seems very nice for the money. I like that it has 4 separate ink cartridges.
