Worked for only a few hours... January 4, 2009 Brendan Foley (Raleigh, NC) I purchased this product for use with my desktop computer (which does not include a wireless card, obviously).
It worked for a couple of hours, as advertised. But it stopped working after the first time the computer was turned off/restarted. The computer would recognize the USB adapter as being plugged in, but the adapter itself refused to recognize any wireless networks in range.
Uninstall and re-install did nothing.
Quick-install instructions are adequate, but the user guide and included software are in broken English and full of typos. The product looks cheap, feels cheap, and was unreliable. Returned for a full refund.
Very disappointed.
Very Good November 23, 2008 camera So far so good, its working fine with an old laptop with Win XP.
Only issue I have is that, if you unplug and plug it back in when the computer is on it stops working. Could be a XP issue.
A good wireless adapter October 19, 2008 average user (Pittsburgh, PA United States) It works well and is easy to install. Windows XP sometimes doesn't recognize the device after startup unless it's unplugged and then replugged again; but I think this is a problem more with Windows than with the device or the software that comes with it.
Really satisfied August 30, 2008 Benjamin Graf (Los Angeles, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yap, I am really satisfied with this Wifi-Stick. The coverage with it is really well and it works flawlessly with WinXP & 2000, while you can either use the Windows Wifi-Managing-Software or install the custom CNET one. (Again I tried both, works both nice, though I go for the Windows-included software since I don't need the CNET-Stuff...) The only downside I see is that it's a little bigger than other sticks I've seen, but I don't really care about that, since they're used for kind of stational laptops ;-)... Full recommendation, especially at that price!
Worked for a couple of days... August 17, 2008 M. R. Carl (PA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
i was very happy when i got it being that most other wifi adapters cost twice this much. it worked right after i installed the drivers from the cd that came in the box. after 2 or 3 days it just stopped working. this is more likely a software issue than the hardware because it was solved with a system restore. but behold the next day when it wouldn't connect. i did another restore and it worked but after another day i realized that it was just unusable.
