Works fine, great bargain! October 9, 2008 G. Short (Columbus, MS United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received and installed this within 10 minutes, including reboot. Used the included software, installed on XP with Service Pack 3. Easily configured Bluetooth PAN with my Windows Mobile phone and listening to Bluetooth stereo headsets as I type this. Don't worry about the nay sayers, this works fine. You can't beat the price, either!
Junk August 18, 2008 B. Custer 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would not suggest this USB Dongle to anyone, it flat out doesnt work. I plugged it in and ran the software that came with and got it to recognize the device. I was able to view my Cell phone and Wiimote for about a minute before I left to go to work. I come home and try to do it again and the device was not recognized. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and no luck, 1 led lights up briefly when I first plug it in but that is all. I also tried using Bluesoleil as a driver instead of the software and it doesnt recognize the device, Windows XP reads it as a "Unknown USB Device" and theres nothing more to do with it. Cheap yes but you get what you pay for.
PS. Customer support is nonexistent for Cyber Blue. You literally have to call China to contact them, and its labeled as a sales line.
Can't get anything to work July 1, 2008 Christopher A. Wheeler (Coralville, IA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I find myself fairly knowledgeable about computers, enough that I should have no problems installing anything. I bought this to use with a mouse, PDA, and stereo headset. I can't get this thing to work with any of these devices. The software that ships with this is a nightmare and I can't figure it out.

This is a waste of money, the software is a nightmare and nothing else works with it. I'm not going to even bother trying returning it because it was cheap. I guess I get what I pay for, but still it didn't even do anything. Avoid at all costs.
No 64 bit drivers! July 1, 2007 J. McBride (CA, USA) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'm sure this device works fine when it works. It comes with a somewhat old version of the WIDCOMM bluetooth drivers, that doesn't include drivers for XP x64. I found a newer WIDCOMM driver (v 5.0.1) after searching around, but even though it has some x64 drivers, it does not have one for this device. So, I am unable to use it with Windows XP x64.
